Mark Sanders

Senior Pastor

Mark Sanders is Senior Pastor at Littlehampton Baptist. Mark is married to Mel and they have three children: Tommy, Jack and Zoe. Mark studied at Burleigh College and Morling College and has previously been in ministry at Marion Church of Christ and Unley Park Baptist. He was ordained in March 2012. Mark loves living in the Hills and being an active part of the local community. He is passionate about the local Church and its role to bring hope and healing to the wider community and world. Through his teaching ministry Mark loves helping people to know and follow Jesus passionately, personally and practically. In his spare time he enjoys relaxing at home with family, following and playing sport of various kinds, being outdoors and enjoying catching up with friends.

Kurt Mahlburg

Associate Pastor (Youth and Young Adults)

After completing high school, Kurt studied architecture but knew God's call to ministry from a young age. After a number of life-changing years living in Indonesia he returned to his home church of Aldgate Baptist, transitioning from youth leadership to his current role. He has also become a qualified Primary School Teacher, still relief teaching occasionally in nearby schools. Kurt loves sharing the unchanging truths of Jesus with young people in a way that makes sense of life and compels them to lifelong joyful discipleship. Among his other passions are surfing, riding, the outdoors, and enjoying life with family and friends.

David Shepherd

Associate Pastor

After completing his Bachelor of Medical Science, David continued to study, gaining a degree in Education. He spent the next 10 years of his life working as a high schoolteacher and itinerant youth communicator, before recently taking up a position at Aldgate Baptist Church. David is married to his wife Jo and together they have three gorgeous kids - Bailey, Mabel and Benji. David is passionate about communicating the life changing truth of the gospel in culturally relevant ways. David is an avid sportsman, who enjoys developing his personal fitness and mentoring others in this area.

Robin Carter

Associate Pastor

Robin started working with Aldgate/Littlehampton Baptist in 2016. Robin has over 20 years pastoral and ministry experience in South Australia plus spent 10 years working with Baptist World Aid visiting and preaching in churches across four states of Australia raising awareness of God's heart for the poor. Robin has a deep love for our Lord, His people, the Gospel and God's Word. By coming alongside people and using the gifts God has given him, Robin longs to see people grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in a way that leads us to greater love and service towards each other, our local community and the wider world. Robin is married to Rebecca. They have six adult children between them and twelve grandchildren. Robin and Rebecca enjoy spending time with family and friends and long for everyone to enjoy the fullness of life God intended for all people.

Lauren Noack

Children's Ministry Worker

Lauren Noack is Children's Ministry Co-ordinator at Littlehampton Baptist Church. She is married to Ben and they have three children: Zoe, Caleb and Daniel. Lauren is a primary school teacher with a Diploma of Theology. She has taught at Christian schools in Melbourne and Adelaide. Lauren hopes to encourage children to develop their own personal relationship with Jesus, see the Bible as an important way that God speaks to them, love belonging to the church family and build close relationships with others. Lauren loves to go on dates with her husband, exercise, read and spend time with family and friends.

Jacqui Grace

Pastoral Care and Women's Ministry

Through her past work as a Registered Nurse and with her work in the disability sector, Jacqui has enjoyed caring for and supporting people. She enjoys being a visual artist and has since completed her Bachelor of Visual Arts in 2013. Jacqui is married to Paul and has three daughters, two son-in-laws and a grandchild. Her desire is that people of our church and the wider community will be unconditionally loved and cared for. Through ministry to women, Jacqui hopes to bring women together to build friendships, nurture relationships with Jesus and to encourage women to faithfully use their God given gifts to glorify God and serve others. Other activities that she loves include gardening, family holidays and spending time with family and friends.
